Samuel H Invisible - Apocalypse Holiday
Samuel H Invisible are alterative band from somewhere in Wales, and they are unique in being the first band I have reviewed to feature a violinist.
They create a “moon soaked dreamrock sound”, those are their words not mine, although I do think that those are very good words to describe the music they create.
Apocalypse Holiday is a mellow and laid back tune that is the sort of thing you would want to listen to while lying in the bath, drinking a cold beer.
The twin vocal parts are what I would imagine honey would sound like if it could sing, the violin compliments the song perfectly and the whole thing sounds like a sunny day.
I would recommend this song to anyone how wants to chill out and relax, and in these times of recession and general stressfulness I think that’s pretty much everyone.
