Sicknote - Death Before Employment

Sicknote’s Death Before Employment is an oddly catchy electro tune, which is so simple it’s hard for me to find much to say about it. I suppose a good place to start would be to say that it is good, but since that only takes me to 40 words I should probably expand on that a bit.

The tune has a slightly psychotic feel to it and moves along with a neurotically cool beat which has the affect of bringing about an uncontrollable desire to move some part of your body along with it. I would call it infectious, but that may show slightly bad taste in these times of Swine Flu.

And let me just say that the simple description that I used at the beginning of this review was not intended as an insult in the sense of saying something like: “watch where your swinging those hedge trimmers you simple-minded simpleton”, it was instead meant as a compliment, Leonardo Da Vinci himself said that “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”, something which I happen to believe.

So there you have it, Sicknote’s Death Before Employment is a sophisticated and catchy electro tune which has been fully endorsed by one of the greatest geniuses of all time.
